Frequently Asked Questions
General cleaning takes into account everything that involves cleaning your home or apartment. All high to low dusting, wiping of all hard surfaces, cleaning and disinfecting of your entire kitchen and bathrooms Exterior cleaning of all major appliances (Interior upon request). Vacuuming of all carpeted areas and sweeping then mopping of all hard floors.
Each of our cleanings always include your selected number of bedrooms and bathrooms along with your kitchen, living room, dining room, hallway’s, stairs and laundry room.
For complete customization of your cleaning feel free to add any of our additional services such as inside fridge, inside oven, inside cabinets, inside windows (Includes tracks and frames) or blinds. If you have any special requests please feel free to call and we would be happy to help create your perfect cleaning!
Our deep cleaning is a very thorough and detailed top to bottom cleaning of your home guaranteed to satisfy! We highly recommended a Deep Cleaning for anyone who has never had a professional cleaning service, or not had their home cleaned professionally in the past 2 months. Having your home deep cleaned allows your Cascade Maids professional the additional time necessary to get your home and any neglected areas back to 100% the first time and leave your home spotless. This can be a very time consuming process as our professionals go over then clean every nook & cranny in your home from any left over dust/debris/grime/etc.. A few areas that take additional time and can be easily overlooked by an untrained eye is the exterior of your cabinets, baseboards, door frames, light switches. It also takes additional time to get to those hard to reach areas such as behind your toilet, built up soap scum in your bathtub, and grease build up in your kitchen, etc..
Our Move In/Out Package is the best choice if you are just moving in or planning on taking pictures to list on the market/selling and want to leave a spotless home for your buyer/moving out and want to insure you get that much needed deposit back! This package includes a very thorough deep cleaning of your entire home along with a few of our extras such as inside your fridge, inside your oven and inside your cabinets. With all of these areas thoroughly cleaned top to bottom you will have no problem settling right into your new home or getting that much needed deposit back!
Note: Per request we no longer include window cleaning within our move in/out package as each homes window count varies. We also reduced the cost of our Move In/Out package because of this! We now offer an additional extra for the inside of your windows which includes your tracks and frames. Simply select the number of windows you would like cleaned on the booking form or let us know and we would be happy to add them to your booking!

We use flat rate no hassle pricing based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home that you would like cleaned. Select the number and the price is shown instantly on the booking form!
Cascade Maids professionals come prepared with all tools & supplies to completely clean your home top to bottom correctly, the first time. Eco Friendly options are available as well!

No, absolutely not! It’s your choice to stay around or go out and take advantage of your free time. Just leave us a key and we’ll get your house cleaned!
Log into your account and get your referral id. Share this with friends. If a friend books through your referral ID, your friend automatically gets a $25 discount and you earn a $25 referral reward that can be applied to future service.
Pricing and Policies
Absolutely. Simply enter your gift card code into the discount code section when you are creating your booking. Your final price will automatically change to reflect your gift card balance. At any time you can log into your account and see the balance on any gift cards you have.
Some discounts are for first time customers only and some are for recurring customers only. In addition, some discounts are only one-time, and will not work for future service. There might be a couple of reasons why a specific discount code no longer works. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
In most cases you can enter your gift card code directly on the booking form in the discount code section. We will still need a credit card on file for your service. If you have any issues, please contact us and let us know.
We require a credit card on file as a backup payment method in case additional services are requested/needed during your service, which could not be covered by your full gift card balance. Your credit card will not be charged unless your service exceeds your voucher/gift card balance.
Please email us at [email protected] or call us at (425)363-0733, 24 hours before your scheduled service during business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. excluding weekends). If a service appointment is rescheduled/canceled less than 24 hours in advance, a cancellation fee of $75 will be charged.
If you are a Weekly client and would like to skip the week of your scheduled service, your next scheduled cleaning will be at the Bi-Weekly rate. After that, your recurring services will go back to your original rate (depending on how many weeks you skip). We must adhere strictly to this policy to prevent lost wages for your Service Professional(s).
Same-Day Cancellation Or Lock-Out Fee: If you cancel the day of service or if your Service Professional is unable to enter the property, there will be a cancellation fee of $75 of your scheduled service cost. We must adhere strictly to this policy to prevent lost wages for your Service Professional(s).
Please understand that unlike other industries such as retail, hairdressers, etc. We in the cleaning industry do not have the luxury of walk-in customers to supplement our schedules when a client cancels without enough notice.
When we schedule your service appointment, we reserve that time for you. Our Service Professionals depend on your job being scheduled for them to make their salary. Cancellations cost them dearly, and we find that if they lose out too often, they quit. You are vital in helping us to retain our excellent staff. We understand that you do not want to see strangers every time we come to visit, and we don’t want to have a continual revolving door of new cleaning professionals either. Thank you for understanding.
We are unable to perform an initial walk-through to verify the size and condition of the home prior to service; therefore, our flat-rate prices are based on certain assumptions of levels of initial cleanliness and the amount of effort required to clean you particular home.
While it is rare that we ever go over the maximum time allowed. We will inform you immediately, If we feel we will need work past this time to fully complete your cleaning. If you agree with our teams exceeding that time, we charge a rate of $45/Hr/Cleaner. If you do not want us to add additional time to fully complete your cleaning we will focus on your priority areas first, then with the time remaining complete as much as possible within the maximum hours allowed for your cleaning. We do this to account for homes that require more intensive work or time due to cleanliness/size. Thank you for understanding

Trust and Safety
All of our professionals are thoroughly vetted, interviewed in person and pass a nation, state & county wide detailed background check. Only about 10% of the people who apply end up working as a Cascade Maids certified cleaner.
If something goes wrong we’re here to make it right. Please let us know right away and we’ll be there to take care of it. That’s our promise to you!
We have three levels of security in place. First off our booking page is protected by extended validation ssl. Secondly our booking form has it’s own layer of 256 bit security. Third, credit card transactions are processed by stripe and is layered on their own 256 security protocol. In addition, no credit card numbers are stored in our system (only a token that allows us to charge the card). Rest assured we take security very very seriously.
Yes they do. We run a detailed nation, state and county wide background checks on all professionals as one of the last steps in our vetting process.
If you’re not content with your cleaning, we will come out and re-clean. If you still don’t think we did a good enough job to recommend us to your friends, we’ll refund your money.
Please Note. Refunds are not offered without a Re-Clean being accepted. If a Re-Cleaning is requested, please inform us within a 72 hour window from your date of service, otherwise it will also be considered denied. We will also ask for pictures of missed areas to be sent via email upon asking for a Re-Cleaning No refunds will be offered if a Re-Clean is denied.
