Clean Your Glass Tables and Windows With Ease

When you have glass tables and windows, keeping them clean is likely at the top of your priority list. Although the glass can easily get dirty, there is a simple and stress-free way to clean everything off in no time. The first thing you need to do is make your own cleanser that you can safely use on the glass without having to worry about any streaks. Although commercial cleansers are available, a combination of vinegar and water or a combination of dishwashing soap and water would create two effective at-home cleansers that you can use.

After mixing the ingredients needed to make a glass cleaner, you should figure out what types of tools you are going to use to get your glass windows and tables as spotless as possible. It is a good idea to use a microfiber towel because it is soft and will not scratch the glass, but it will still do the job of helping you get rid of dirt, stains, and dust. If you do not have a microfiber towel available, you can always substitute it with a coffee filter.

Before getting started, make sure you have your cleanser in a spray bottle. Use a few sprays on the different glass surfaces, allow the cleanser to soak in for a few minutes, and then gently take your cloth and begin wiping away at the dirt on your glass surfaces. If you have a lot of dirt on your cloth, grab a different one when working on the next window or table to avoid spreading dirt from one surface to the next.

Always be careful whenever you are wiping down any of the glass surfaces inside your home. Putting too much of the cleanser on these surfaces could work against you instead of for you, causing a lot of unwanted streaks to appear. Spray your cleanser lightly and you should not have a problem at all.

Once you have wiped the windows, tables, and any other glass surfaces down with your homemade cleanser, quickly check to make sure that everything looks good before you start moving on to your next cleaning task. If you notice any smudges on the glass, you can simply grab your cloth and wipe the smudge away in a matter of seconds. Overall, it is quite easy to keep glass surfaces clean and it does not require a lot of effort on your behalf either.
